Muscle Building Questions - Training Muscle Groups Separately Each Day

fitness-advice Question:
I am working out every muscle group separately every day. Chest Monday, back Tuesday, shoulder Wednesday, biceps and triceps together Thursday, and legs Friday, then I repeat the cycle. For every muscle group I do 5 sets total and about 7-8 reps for each one with 3 mins break in between each set. I want to know if this method is a good one to get the muscle mass body everyone wants, does it take longer then other methods?

fitness-advice Answer:
You're on the right track with the workout you have outlined. Just make sure to always try and increase the weight lifted by a few pounds on each exercise.
